    Unfortunately Daggers doesn't have the presence required against these top defenders we came up against today, very ineffective.
    Also compare Dawson to Maloney he was up against, just league's apart.

    Aye just being devils advocate, but I'm still worried about this season. Seems to be a taboo about pointing out the facts these days but the facts are we leaked goals pre season and were shown up today, I am worried we may get the drop this season. People are looking for all kinds of scape goats- the ref, the opposition etc etc but the fact is Wigan are in our league for a reason.

    My problem is that we had one of our highest attendances in a long time today and the players didn't even try to put the effort in to entice them back.

    Does realism make me a worse fan? Cos the way some carry on on here you'd think it does. It has all been talk up to now and we are showing that unless serious pressure is on to get results we simply can't perform at a high enough standard.

    Anyway, I'll be there every week regardless. Could very very easily get a beating in our next 2 games, too.

    I agree with this. Been saying it for ages. If daggers was a couple of yards faster we would be a much better team. Loads of times last season he was played through and almost got in but wasn't quick enough.

    Listening to player today quite a few times they said daggers almost got onto a ball from ogrady. We need a striker quick enough to get onto these through balls and it will make a big difference
