    Chris Porter

Tall, mobile, aggressive, good scoring record. Or, Ritchie Lambert, won't be long before someone takes a punt on him.

We are relying on our defence and to a certain degree on our midfield to win us games........

    .............this cant go on

somewhere along the line we will come across a team that opens up our defence and scores one goal and from this the whole team will then collapse

WHY ???.....................because the Barnsley team knows we have little chance of scoring........(see the Palace game)

Half of football is a matter of confidence.............

If we had better strikers..........it wouldn't just make us better in attack......it would make better players throughout the whole team

We had Rush in a few times before

Never made a difference - think scoring goals is a nack don't think it can be coached - they can tell you where to move but you still need to put the ball in the net then

    Daniel Sturridge

Seen him a few times always looks lively... Not scared of running with the ball

If anyone saw his efforts on sunday he laid 2 goals on a plate for Robiniho...

Thats the sort of player we should be looking at trying to get in on loan, a youngster that can quiet obviously cut it at the top level... not scouting lower/lesser forgein leagues for an unknown!!!

I know but saying that Hull got Campbell last season.... So there is always hope...

What about one of the young'uns from Arsenal havent they got a kid called Willshire???? Saw him play in some of them preseason tournaments, Only 16 and scored 3 times.....

Experience at a competitive level, surely some Prem clubs would want that for some of their up and coming talent...

Half page on him in the Guardian about how he was about to be a 1st team regular

So unlikely, Robino rates him apparently

Worth a try though. Who's the Irish striker at city?
