There is no way any money is coming in before the end of the season & I think most good candidates would wait until the end of the season before taking the job, for various reasons, compensation, not wanting a relegation against their name, etc Hard to know what the way forward is - i fear that an appointment made in haste may be very bad... imo that would be Megson, or any past player, just to keep fans happy for a few weeks until transfer window closes. Any ideas on a postcard.
it is not the 4 points look at the table - only 4 teams in the mixer - anybody with more than 4 brain cells can work out that is only a 25% chance of staying up & we have just lost our only goalscorer & need a new manager please somebody post an intelligent reply
be positive, if any players read the negativity that will surely lift them. NOT... Hills gone, hope we get a good manager, get behind the team. Chin up
ok then is this intelligent enough, despite our woeful record, win 2 or 3 games and we bring a whole heap of **** onto other clubs, including the likes of Wolves.
its not about negativity i've watched the team since 1974 & if any players are looking to me for inspiration on this board they are truly f@@ked - wiseman, done, mcnulty, et al.... fans need to get real. the money has dried up. wake up & smell the coffee.
PS if anyone can find a negative thread from me about a player on this forum I'll buy them a pint at the Leeds match
Peachy its not about wake up and smell the coffee, Yes we all know theres a good chance we could go down, but we are trying to be positive and hoping we get out of it. Bet you dint celebrate xmas either Mr Scrooge....
That doesn't mean to say we have to give up. Until its mathematically impossible, I will believe we will stay up.
If the country said that 1939 we would all be little Adolph's. There are more than enough points for us to go for to stay up. The fat lady aint sung yet mate. Keep the faith.
b@ll@x - you don't get my point at all people on here moaning all the time, without coming up with a constructive idea i the words of the who "meet the new boss, same as the old boss" - will keep people positive for 2 weeks to have neil redfearn or gary megson in place, then crowds will go down even more
ha ha Calm down Peachy, Someones tired today. Everyone understands your point. We dont agree but if it makes you feel better we can all pretend to be miserable. (MY GLASS IS HALF FULL, YOURS IS HALF EMPTY)
I'm not a big man, I just don't accept that we're down just because you tell me to. I don't have the answers either - that's not my area of expertise - but Tomi's suggestion sounds pretty good to me.
are we chuff, even with just a slight change in luck we could pick up enough points to be well back in the mix. The new manager factor will probably do that on its owwn
Wolves and Brum will carry on sliding so we always have a chance. Theres enough points to stay up, so lets go out and get them
