BARNSLEY midfielder Anderson de Silva is not expected to be back from Brazil in time for tonight's clash with Birmingham City following the sudden death of his mother earlier this week.

Reds boss Simon Davey said: "Anderson's mum died suddenly last Monday night and he had to go back to Brazil. Our thoughts are with Anderson and his family at this time.

"Anderson was very, very close to him mum and the lad is absolutely devastated. She was not very old and died very suddenly. It was a massive shock and he needs to be at home with his family.

"I am not anticipating him being back for the Birmingham game".

    Yes, but...

Is that assuming the match is tonight, or next Tuesday? :D

Doubt it with 11 men behind the ball, even if they don't come! nt
