    And set pieces. Last Friday Ipswich's goal could have easily been avoided if there had been a man on the post. I like you was very mad as it's day one of defending school. However maybe it isn't now. Watch this.

    The difference between us and the teams attempting these new ideas is. THEY ARE GOOD! Flicker, best we stick to a man on each post, to be on the safe side.

    I'm sure Flicker has learnt from the goal we conceeded at Ipswich and today we will have a man on both posts at set pieces.

    Ipswich goal was akin to military operation.2 men block the keeper- another man blocking Crainey (Murphy's marker) and the ball put into a space that Murphy could attack. Man on post may have helped.

    we havnt had a man on the post for corners in ages,cant remember the last time.

    and leave someone up as an outlet so the bloody ball doesnt come straight ack down our throats.

    nailed on and its a poor decision. Much better leaving one maybe 2 up so that we can hit them on the break and also the opposition would think twice about throwing as many players forward.

    Agree.

    If we leave one up against Wednesday it's much less likely that we'd have conceded. Plus it means one less bloke in the box to run into ala Cranie at Ipswich.
