On any measure of form since Christmas. I have seen in other threads people claiming that there are at least 2 teams worse than us. No, there WERE at least 2 teams worse than us. In fact, during the first half of the season there were many teams worse than us, and we were actually looking pretty good for a top-half finish. But right now, and for most of the last 4 months there have been NO teams worse than us. Congratulations to all concerned, you have engineered the worst team in the division! Much rebuilding required this summer.
we lack a goal threat but integrity of players is beyond question Yes it will be tough next season but Brighton and Cardiff have not looked anything special in last 2 home games and the potential sale of Jacob Butterfield will hopefully give Keefy some scope in transfer market.
I don't think we are that far off, yes we need quality adding to the squad but three players ago we were a top half of league team. Is it not better that we know we have to get that quality over the summer rather than be mid-table and not have the urgency to push for the best we can afford?
