Moved from 18th to 13th after an exhausting performance against Wolves.
Games coming thick and fast, Carling Cup, followed by difficult away game 3 days later.
Enthusiastic and hard working squad, but thin and liable to problems if injuries occur.
We have a huge job on our plate to stay up, then consolidate.
Excellent opportunity to try the lesser known lads in a "real" game, see how they do. After all these could be the future in only a few months.
Get real everybody. It was fairly well notified that we were putting a second string out tonight. If we'd got players injured or carded so they couldn't play, you'd be well pissed off. Andy has his head screwed on, whereas you, admirably follow the team everywhere, no matter what.
See the sense for goodness sake. The real world lies less than 72 hours away at Deepdale.

Well said mate Staying in The Championship is the priority. Although it would have been nice to have won and maybe get a big club next round (ManUre away?) Only thing is it looks like the "fringe" players clearly aren't good enough for the first team yet. I mean, MK f'kin Dons?
That's all well & good but why don't they say that they have no interest in cup competitions when they invite season ticket holders to pay for cup tickets in advance? Is that because they know that they'll lose revenue? Hold on, revenue can't be important because if it was, they'd try harder to get further. Sorry, forgive me, I'm old, I've grown into a cynic. Either that or I've swallowed too much bull over the last 3 decades.
