We Bidded for Lisbie, But got rejected

    Lisbie, 29, scored 17 goals for Colchester last season but is set to quit following the club's relegation to League One.
    The Esse club have already rejected an offer from Barnsley, which fell well short of their £700,000 valuation, while Burnley are also Interested.

    I heard that we bidded, but then said he didnt want to move up here. I also heard he was the main summer target and Hume was the our second choice.

    Why apologise? There are two kinds of sad people on this board - those that make up rumours/sightings of players or number plates just so that they can appear "in the know" and those that pick everybody else up on the slightest mistake of spelling or grammar. Both groups are merely trying to appear superior to the rest of us mere mortals.
