Does anyone have any realistic ideas about how to get us out of this predicament?

By predicament I mean lack of goals, wins, quality, points, entertainment, money, crowds etc etc.

I'm yet to hear a single feasible solution, only a number if half-baked suggestions that create further problems, e.g. sacking Hill, the Don, or Cryne handing over the keys to someone else (usually not specified).

There needs to be a change. But this time it's not just a case of changing the manager. This time last year we went to Sheff Utd and we had quality all over the pitch. I was actually looking forward to this season. I remember the shock when I heard that Robins had gone. (even though I was still un decided about him as boss) It's sad to see just how far we've regressed in the last 12 months. We can get back on track but it's going to take time. We need an injection of energy, passion and vision at board level to start with. An intelligent well networked manager. The crowds will increase if there is something to shout about. Players with genuine quality make a difference. And I can hear the usual stuff about money. But our financial situation just makes it even more important that we recruit the right manager, and unfortunately PC has got it wrong every time for me.

But weren't we talking about the fantastic football....

... we were playing round about Xmas? We were looking up the table at a play-off place, not down at the relegation spots.

And I know we disagree, but Hill and Flitcroft are the best choice in our situation.

We do. But it's one of the great things about this game. Football divides opinions, particularly when results aren't acceptable. But at the end of the day we all agree on which club we follow. You can change the manager and players but as a fan you just can't change your team.
