Yeah. Big problem with Davies. Luckily he is only young so he's got time to develop. I'm hoping he'll be good in a few years. He's cost us in friendlies and will cost us in league games. Would have been a draw if Turnbull was in net.

No way would Steele have come for that corner

    Most goalies wouldn't have

Their goalie hardly had to move for the corners we put in

If their goal was to be prevented then a defender needed to put the scorer under more pressure

Our keeper did not cost us today

We have an extremely decent keeper in Turnbull. As good as Steele IMO

He was not as good as Steele when he was here last time, but he is cheaper and there lies the truth !!

He was 19 last time. Goalkeepers don't peak until they're about 30.

Luke steele would never have got that ball from the corner...he was gash at corners and a lot of other things..this young lad we have to me is not that far off being a very good keeper.. yes he needs to be a bit more commanding at corners and he also tends to spill the ball now and again but that will change with experience. Good kicking, good shot stopper and good at ball distribution.

Funny how there is a different view on Steele putting a couple of kicks straight into touch and young Davies doing the same.

Striker left completely unmarked in box from an opposition corner and it's the keeper's fault. Aye, OK. Think this is a case of people seeing what they want to see.

I thought we looked poor whenever there was anything coming in from wide areas on either side, said to my mate in the first half that it was a good job we were up against crawley and not one of the championship teams, they'd have made us pay dearly yesterday.
However, its early days and I'm sure things will improve.

No it wasn't, our delivery was such that it went straight to the keeper who was left unhindered to collect. Blame the striker of the ball or the strikers in the box, either way it was ineffective. For their goal, the defenders failed to defend. No way the goalies fault.

I was sat in line next to the corner stand in the east, there were exactly the same area. Their keeper swallowed them up, not putting the blame of us losing on him but l feel that Turnbull would have swallowed that cross. I thought the keeper did okay yesterday despite the crowd being a bit nervous about him.

Not the same crosses at all. Most of our crosses dropped central where there goalie was unhindered. Not same for their goal when the 6 yd box was crowded. Defenders should have done better.

can't see the keeper argument TBH

Steele whether you liked him or not you have to admit crosses especially corners were not his strong point and you certainly can't put any blame on the young lad for that either.
It was a nicely placed corner, unlike the majority of ours which were catching practice for the keeper.
The main problem was it was yet another in a long list of goals conceded to free headers, and in the game there were another couple of how the hell did they miss that moments too!

So the 6 yd box wasn't crowded when we had a corner? you need to watch the highlights on player.
