No pattern. no indication at all that we know how to play as a team.

We have played 3 ordinary sides and looked second best, by a distance, in all 3 games.

No craft, no confidence, no character.

It speaks volumes that a kid drafted in at the last minute was the only player in our side to produce intelligent accurate forward passes.

Lord knows what's happened to Hourihane.

This is not a work in progress at present. Cos there's no progress.

We need a forward to hold it up, a proper holding midfielder, and a Williams type to do summat beyond square passing it nowhere.

These last two home games have been worrying. It's not as though we've been trying summat, but not pulling it off. We've just been rudderless and lost.

    Sums up my thoughts exactly.
I know we have injuries at present but the side just has no shape whatsoever. We're spineless in midfield with little or no craft on offer either. We have no proper width and the defence leaks like a sieve.
Can't believe just how bad we have got. I know it was a big ask to throw a team together in such a short space of time but Wilson has been backed extremely well financially by 3rd division standards.
I've used the term 'work in progress' quite often myself this season. Right now though I see no progress whatsoever. The January transfer window is vital to our future prospects. Some crucial signings are needed to boost the flagging spirits of our fan base.

Can't disagree with anything in this thread. Unfortunately.

I agree, its been very poor but I think privately Danny agrees too. I'm certain the areas of weakness will be addressed in January.
