    well it would have been a play off place. But at the start of the season I was worried about a season long relegation struggle. We spent a majority of the season in the top 8 and ended up in the middle 8, hardly touched the bottom 8. Given our finances I would say that's not a bad season. I would have liked to have kept the [players who left in the Jan window but I feel we still would not have made the play offs even with them. I am now hoping that Brighton win tonight thus mening Newcastle cannot get the title and thus will be on the beach next week, giving us an unexpected win and topping 60 points.

    It's our specialty. Which makes it even more strange that our player of the season award was dominated by the defensive side of the team that can't hang onto the leads the attacking end of the team give them to defend.

    It's not strange. Our best 2 attacking players left in January. One of them would have absolutely (and probably still should have) walked player of the season
