Looks like he's making excuses to me

All this **** about having a small squad and suffering due to suspensions and injuries. Our squad isn't that small, and we have suspensions, injuries and Anderson out tomorrow- so does that mean if we lose its not his fault? Don't think so Simon.

Injuries and suspensions have definitely not killed our season. I can think of a few things that have though. Tomorrow is a massive game for him. I won't accept any excuses for defeat.

So THATS what killed our season

nowt to do with baffling tactics and formations or being ultra defensive against bottom of the league teams, shows how much we know eh?

I'd like to see the comparison.

Before Ian Hume got injured and afterwards.....

Its all comparative though its like saying only we get inconvenient injuries and suspensions when in fact it happens to all teams at some stage

One of the key things that Davey has been criticised for is his innability to identify a striker...

    I think so too.

He seems to have done alright with the rest of the squad except up front.

Muller and Steele, both great at this level.

Moore and Souza - both good enough for this division.

Colace, Anderson, Leon, JCR... and more all more than good enough for championship.

Up front, Macken is OK, but everyone else has been mediocre.

Then he signs Hume. Top class signing many would agree.

    then he gets injured.

Now - the rest of the team it makes little difference. With Barnsley, up until January, we had one proper striker at the club (who Davey played on the wing!).

So with the rest of the team I agree with the principle, but with the given that Davey has had very poor choices of striker the injury to Hume in my view has been the key issue in Barnsley's performance this season.

I also think that now we have Mifsud and Bogdanovic the excuse goes out the window and we should now go on to be safe with time to spare.

Playing for survival against Reading Wolves and away at Plymouth is not acceptable at the end of the season.

Iain Hume being injured will not excuse Davey if we get relegated

Choose which way you look at it, he's had more than enough players to compete in this division. He's been backed with funds and loans when he's asked.

He's ****** up so many games this season tactically.

If we do get beaten by Blackpool tomorrow Davey should be straight out of the door because with the matches we have got left I dont hold out much hope of us stopping up,we dont need Davey and his baffleing formations and defensive tactics and players played out of position,as Windy says just tell them to go out there play in their positions and 442,get more points doing that than playing like this joke of a manager tells them, believe me Blackpool will be no walk overs tomorrow.

Iain Humes goal tally for the season

was on target to be about 10. He was no better than the rest i'm afraid.
