Whats that saying, you reap what you sow. To me how things are going is no big surprise we are so close yet so far from where we want to be, Leejay is now under pressure and having to resort to managerial ******** bingo to keep the fans onside. Why not see the obvious and have a balance of youth and experience.
Funny thing is we could all see it. Getting 6 loan players before a ball has been kicked is a joke. To rub salt into the wounds half of them havent played much so you can hardly say that each player was signed for a specific reason, more like a scatter gun approach which is why we are where we are.
I could find countless posts on here from July all raising concerns about our targets, their age, the amount of loans, etc. We're just humble fans but we could see flaws in Lees transfer philosophy. I really believe we're going to struggle this season as a result.
I said the same when his name came up and when he was appointed. I was happy to support him but I did not understand the vision of the board or what made them believe he was the best man to replace Danny.
Exactly, anybody who thinks its LJ's policy to sign young players are deluded, Mr Mansford as been feeding us this saleable assets bullcrap from day 1 and I'm afraid Mr Cryne must have bought into this, as the old saying goes 'you cant win anything with kids' it will also do us no favours in the lower end of the table. Long season ahead.
I'd be asking a good solicitor to go through the sale of goods act with a fine tooth comb if I was PC.
I'm not sure in this instance. There must be some reason why we've suddenly decided it's 'head coach' when throughout history we've always had 'manager'. Something must be different.
The lads who host football heaven keep mentioning it but so far I haven't heard a convincing reason why he's head coach. I hope it doesn't mean somebody else is in charge of transfers because we don't have a director of football so that would mean only one thing.
