the opposition played football in the same style as we did. So the ball was on the ground most of the time, lots of short sharp passing and overall the game ebbed and flowed because of that. If you play a league 1 team who kick off, play it back to their full back, who launches it forward for Roberts to head into midfield, the ball bobbles about in the air, everyone trying to get their head on it, and so on and so forth, you get an entirely different spectacle. So I think it just proved to the doubters how skilful our young lads are once they get the opportunity to play a real footballing team, not a hoof-ball team.
