We lost 2-0 in a 3rd round replay last season , it was the poorest performance I had ever seen.

We then went on to win promotion.</p>

This could be a turning point , I know yet another in this season of turning points, and we will get back on the road to glory.</p>

unfortunately mate, i really can't see it.

there are serious problems - i think its fairly clear that Davey is not going to be the next Billy Davies / Ady Boothroyd.

we are going down, the most worrying thing is the sense of apathy amongst the fans, which suggests to me that we are not coming back for a long time when we do go down.

i wasn't happy with sacking ritchie at the time but thought i would give the decision the benefit of the doubt and could have understood it if we got an experienced manager in, if only for a stop gap to keep us in the championship. the decision to sack ritchie is now looking very short sighted and the decision to install davey even worse.

we took a risk at a time when risks should not have even been considered and it looks as though we are going to pay for it unless evasive action is taken. it will take a big, bold decision.

 

I think Davey could be the next Ady Boothroyd as he doesnt play football either.

Davey has just lucked out in the fact that the players we have are not suited to humping the ball up the park like the players Watford have are.

 

so if i can see it and you can see it - why does he persist in playing the wrong system with these players?

surely a good manager is flexible, dynamic and adaptive - someone who gets more than the sum of the parts at his disposal?

however like everyone else Davey must have a prefered method of play.</p>

All players should be able to adapt to any style thats put to them , whether their heart will be in it is another matter.</p>
