To be fair, the 2nd half was miles louder than normal. The fans really got behind the team for a change!! It lifted the lads as well!

    Lets keep it going!

I sit in the West Stand.......and there was a definite change in the team when the chanting started

And it started from next to nowt happening on the pitch
Hulse had a good shot saved and suddenly our fans were on their feet
It usually works the other way round i.e. when one of our forwards has a shot at goal
It was quite weird to watch really..........they are attacking.......but its our fans that start singing

But when they did start singing both teams suddenly stepped it up a few gears............result, we scored a blinder
And then went on to get another

yes i do sit in the ponty. i just wish all the ponty would sing, and not just the side of the stand sat near the east stand. the part of the stand towards the west stand rarely sing, just the odd bloke stood up. i love it when the whole stand, stands up to chant 'red army' non stop for about 20 minutes, :) :)

    Luke Steele made the difference

He made a couple of excellent saves which gave the team and fans confidence which carried on till the end of the match.

The fans certainly ddin't just decide to start singing, they were simply reacting to a great save.
