I think we've gone beyond a few last minute equalisers

Some last minute winners are what we need! They're a bit thin on the ground though. I really fear for Monday. The team with the 2nd best goal difference against the team with the worst. It doesn't bode well.

    And I bet it'll be

The fault of the home fans if we lose , it usually is with some of the sycophants !

    I just love it

When I'm told I'm not a real fan by some kid who'd been ejaculated into his mother's vagina , years after I'd started trailing up & down the country watching us in the old 4th Division days !!!
Oh to be a young , megalomaniac , free of any responsibility .

    I'd love to know

Where does optimism end & delusionment start? Seems to me it's like genius & lunacy, there's a very fine line!

    Not you mate!

Like me, you've had all, or at least most, of your optimism knocked out of you!

    True enough

I just think that the vast majority of displays and results we've been getting during these last 11 games have had the stench of relegation about them . Nine points from a possible thirty three ( whilst conceding twenty eight goals ) signifies that there has to be a huge upturn in performances and results . I think it's probable that we'll require nine points from the last fifteen available in order to be in a position to avoid the drop .

So basically, the remedy is to

Go from 0.81 ppg achieved in the last 11 games up to 1.8 ppg in the games remaining whilst at the same time addressing the average 2.55 goals per game conceded over the last 11 games?

    Piece of cake

Just look up the appropriate chapter in the coaching manual . If it's not there , then the problem obviously doesn't exist !
We've all worked with that type of manager , unfortunately .

Who's accused you of not been a proper fan, mate?

    Serious question.

    No specific individual

I've read numerous posts whereby a writer designates what he/she believes to be the criteria required to be classed as a true fan . It comes as no surprise , either , to find that this person ticks every box they themselves have stipulated . However , woe betide anyone who fails their test . These people are 'obviously' not true fans and , should they have the audacity to show any dissent towards the club , then BFC and this BBS would be far better off by their absence . In other words , we all toe the party line or depart , to leave a purer form of football fan .
I , for one , will not be dictated to be such small minded people . If the team plays well , I have the right to praise them . If the team plays poorly , I have the right to criticise them . This is called freedom of speach , it is not hypocrisy . I choose what matches I attend , no one else . I choose how I spend my money , no one else . I may disagree with another poster's views , but I defend their rights to do so . However , I will not question his/her love , passion and affection of Barnsley Football Club simply because we have differing opinions. Nor will I query anyone's reason for non attendance .
I believe that Barnsley FC supporters should be a broad church , strong enough to sustain a wide difference of views .

    Or alternatively

You could say we need to achieve treble the number of points over the last five games than we've achieved in our last five.
