    BARNSLEY manager Simon Davey has called on Reds fans to pack Oakwell to the rafters this weekend as his side face their biggest game of the season.

    Speaking to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, Simon said: "We need them more than ever this Saturday. This is our biggest game of the season and we need every Barnsley supporter, especially those who went with the Club to Cardiff and Wembley, to get down to Oakwell and help roar the lads on.

    "We have a great opportunity to put any doubts about our Championship status to bed by beating Leicester and we want this place packed out. If we win the game we will stay up - it is as simple as that.

    "We need everybody down here".

    getting the day trippers down to oakwell won't help roar the team on it will just make it quieter like at wembley, if they want some noise they need to get all the nutter to sit together and let them create some noise

    Wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference. Leicester will 'be at home' tomorrow end of.

    9k harden souls each match - knock a fiver off might get 10k in.

    I'm perfectly happy paying 20 notes.

    Isn't the average just a 1000 or so down?

    not that I can understand why that should be.

    I know at least 1 who just does not go because he does not like Davey.

    Still I think cheap tickets for tomorrow is an opportunity missed.

    Trouble is

    How often does it seem to be that they offer these deals to get people in, we get a decent crowd and then the team under perform, people leaving with 10 minutes left saying "bl**dy hell I don't know how you watch that every week"

    We all turned up last year for the Leicester game Simon

    We actually sold the home end out. But you still ******* lost and we had to rely on other results to stay in the division. Don't put the outcome of this game at our door, if we lose and go down it'll be your fault.

    there were a lot of people stood on gangways and back of west stand lower without seats who had come in.

    Last year we had just been promoted so the fans were optomistic and bought ST's....

    after a relegation battle and yet another manager sacking people have decided to keep their money in their pockets this year....

    the jurys still out on Davey....
