With David Perkins out of the side. Funny that.

By the same logic you could say we are playing better without Steele in the team.

You could but then you would ask yourself would you drop Alnwick for Steele?? Would you drop anyone to fit Perkins in?

I wouldn't drop anyone on current form, for Perkins.

Horses for courses. Squad depth. Layering.

I would bring Steele in tomorrow though. Always excels against Peterbro, and we need to be playing him if we're hoping to sell him in January.

We seem to be playing better in this 4-3-1-1 formation.

Pretty sure we're playing with 11 men not 10

And we seem much tighter at the back with pretty much the same players in defensive positions.

    Think it's more of a 1 2 Dyson than a three.

Diamond in midfield. Cranie at the base, Dawson and Cywka as the 2 'side' players, Mellis at the point.

No I wouldn't drop anyone but I wouldn't put our good recent form down to Perkins being injured.
