...and got one. The manager will no doubt be satisfied but I do wonder if this fairly negative mindset is the reason we just cannot get away from the relegation scramble. I thought Brum were nothing short of shocking. Very little going forward and a policy of giving free kicks away 30 yards from goal to break up play (a la Stoke and Hull last season). I simply don't understand the faith he has in Macken, and can't help thinking that Hammill on from the start and Boggy down the middle would have been more than enough to win this game.

If we stay up by a point, however, then it will have been a good night.
