The Brugges number 40 would fit the bill perfectly.

Must have been at least 6ft 5in looked good on the floor and unbeatable in the air.

Wonder if he fancies swapping the bright lights of European football for a crack at the Championship :)

    Yep..........I would say the same

    Also another
keeper and drop Steele to No2
Left sided defender because I don't think we have cover for Golbourne
Left sided winger because I don't think we have cover for Jennings
    Striker

So I think another 4 or 5 should do it

Also another keeper and drop Steele to No2 - **** WUM, Hemsy is better
Left sided defender because I don't think we have cover for Golbourne - Wiseman, Kennedy, Hassell, McNulty
Left sided winger because I don't think we have cover for Jennings - RNL, JOB, Cwyka, Kennedy, Golbourne

    C RNL competition for jennings
D you have no idea about football, your Steele comment is laughable

There are better keepers around than Steele..........much better keepers

Also.......I didn't realise we had so many left footed players at the club?
I don't know about Lassarus............but surely Wiseman, Kennedy, Hassell, McNulty, JOB, Cwyka, Kennedy are all right footed
I don't for one minute think they are..........but if they are ...........then we need a couple of more players to play down the right hand side

Centre half and a striker required. 3 senior strikers and Danny Rose isn't enough for me.

You don't have to be left footed to play on the left.

Nudger, proving he hasn't watched much of us in the last 12 months. Doesn't even know what foot Tom Kennedy plays with etc. Thinks Steele should be a number two. And has Jennings as first choice despite the lad never playing for us, let alone play a game at this level.

    Good ol Nudge.

It might be old age, but didn't Young Nudger used to be quite a sensible poster at one point?
I seem to remember his posts about his viewpoint after the game, that I occasionally enjoyed reading. God knows what's happened to him now.

FFS............Tell that to football league managers.......and then to the England manager....... and then listen to what they have to say

    A we wont't sign 4 or 5 no chance.................who told you that ??????????
B Kennedy outplayed Golbourne yesterday, i would count that as competition.............Golbourne (and Stones) were a massive loss to us last season.....only have to listen to what Flicka has to say about these two full backs
C RNL competition for Jennings...........I asked whether Lasarus was a left footed player a few weeks back on here........no one seemed to know???
D you have no idea about football, your Steele comment is laughable.............you are just one of many (although you are not as bad as some) that post on here that has nothing to say but just jumps on the bangwagon with the rest of the brain dead sheep. All what you can actually do is berate other peoples comments with childish playground comments.
Yours and a load more (and you know who you are) have NOTHING to contribute to any debate or argument..........your only contribution is to follow the trend of other ****** ********

Nothing sheepish about rating our keeper, nor is it sheepish to assume that blatant left-footer Noble-LAZARUS is in direct competition with Jennings.

TK has just been awarded a 2 year deal - I think that tells you how much Flicker rates him, as well as Golbourne.

Stones' loss was never felt. You'd know that if you'd have been to just one game under Flicker. But you didn't, hence your mistakes.

Yes I know we have............but some people on here don't even know that
What we haven't got, and it was plain to see towards the end of last season is enough cover on the left side

As for a keeper...........if Davey can bring one in for £300k who was the best keeper in the division then I'm sure Flicka can

Not saying that Steele is a terrible keeper because he has his good points.........but there are better keepers out there that can command their own penalty area and greatly improve the goals against tally (and with the ability to actually pass the ball to a player in a red shirt)

That was Simon Davey backed by crynes wallet not break even flicker.

And muller wasn't without his flapping either.

We've got one of the better keepers in the league on relatively good terms for barnsley.

You'd be talking 300k plus to replace Steele.

Are you blind, drunk, or blind drunk?

Many of us (who attended the last 4 months of the season) have pointed out that we had cover at LB/LWB - Kennedy, Noble-Lazarus. And stayed up.

As for Steele, Flicker obviously thinks he's as good as we can get otherwise he'd have spent money replacing him, rather than retaining him.

    End of Fred.
