We're not badly run, we just won't put OUR club in jeopardy, hopefully.

"activated a release clause that Rovers failed to omit " - Really no chance the players agent insisted it was included?
That said it does look a bit shambolic from the club- never quite sure how much to trust The Athletic on things like this but parts of it ring true

so the FA cup fiasco and McBurnie ****-up West stand closure etc are signs of a well run club?
Dont get me wrong I am not in favour of sack the board and they do a decent job but there have been a few things happen that shouldnt in recent times

If you get the chance to talk to a Wendy, ask them to list the c0ck ups made by Chansiri, you'll need to cancel any appointments for the next few hours.

Are we not meant to believe anything in the Athletic now they've written an article that reflects badly on BFC?

Blackburn are an absolute mess at the moment. Two January windows in a row where a deal has collapsed because of an error with the paperwork. It was two players last season. This year, they tried to call off this transfer while the player was on a plane, then didn't submit the paperwork for the deal they did do.

But in answer to the thread title. I wouldn't say we're particularly well run. The big mistakes seem to be fairly frequent. FA Cup expulsion, Fanatics, Hex, reported issues on paperwork of two players loaned out, reports of discriminatory behaviour from a board member and EFL charges, West Stand, go further back you have the McDonald sale and failed attempt to sue Hull for a fee and McBurnie and the fax machine. All this on top of what I think is a fundamentally flawed business model, brought in before Conway took over and attempts to use a 'moneyball' type strategy but completely misses the point of what moneyball was all about.

Just because other clubs are run appallingly bad does not excuse failings here. I’m pretty sure the directors of Carillion take no comfort from knowing BHS went bust.

Financially our club is not run sustainably. Losses of nearing £15m in the last three years suggest otherwise.

in the mad world of football that may seem parsimonious but without £10m from the owners the club is in the brown stuff.

Poor decision to give him the job last summer, after a few good seasons.

I think it was short sighted of the club to sell ashley ward. Shambles.
