We won 3-0 and all people seem bothered about is the pitch invasion & getting rid of Davey.

Congratulations to the players on a very decent performance, a big win, and survival from relegation.

    Well done lads.

    Huh!

Congratulations to the players, who Iwas unableto applaud because of all the cocks on the pitch who arrogantly thought they deserved centre stage. They were still being asked to leave the area as I was going over the hill into town. I bet it looked great with the remaining couple of hundred spectators left to applaud them.

    Agreed

They got a line of stewards to push up to the half way line and finally got everyone off the pitch....Davey and players came out, no problem until they went into the Ponty stand half of the field and a few came running back on so they went back into the other half and applauded from there....stewards at that point did a good job of keeping the fans back....but why not a line in front of the Ponty.

Anyway - good performance, credit to Charlton who didn't just come to make up the numbers but we wanted it.

    No they didn't

They just stayed in the North half of the field, line of stewards along half way line

the vast majority of barnsley fans were booing at the final whistle

Set of moaning gits. Won 3-0, stayed up, good chance of the Pigs still going down and folk can still moan about a few kids on the pitch so they can't applaud the players. Bloody hell, do you think the players actually give a toss about the fans applauding them at the end?

"do you think the players actually give a toss about the fans applauding them at the end?"

Yes i do. You could tell that some of them were desperate to get to the Ponty end. JCR, Steele and Souza in particular. I am sure they would all have liked the chance. Their families are in the corner remember. It is a joke that people want to run on the pitch (kids parents should know better, and adults that go on are just to$$ers) and a joke that the club haven't learnt how to stop it yet. I am very happy about the result and the season, but the usual end of season watching morons run around aimlessly has tainted it. AGAIN. Police should be making arrests, people would soon run back then.

My two grandsons went on the pitch loved it they did, they got knocked about a tad like what with them only been 7&9 yrs old and folk running wild with relief knowing we'd survived and enjoying the occasion....

Oh don't you worry yourself, I'm happy, very happy. Great weather, great performance, great game, even davey fetched his subs on early (for him), great day. It's just a shame that the shine was taken off it by the same thing that happens regularly at barnsley.

Totally agree. For fecks sake hardly the crime of ther century. used to do it myself in 70's. They were mainly kids who were excited anyway. Keep the spontanaity in life not everything should be stage mamaged to nth degree.

Bet the people who complain are them who would tip the council off if you put a blue ribboed rapper in your bin for cardboard.

Not the vast majority by any stretch of the imagination. Vocal minority I would say

The trouble is it wasn't just kids. There were people going on and dancing about who were well into adulthood.

I didn't get the urge to run about on the pitch like a knob, does this make me weird?

I think it's the same as anything though, if some people are asked not to do something, then they do it anyway, just for the sake of it.

Fences get my vote for the last game next year!
