Lucky by the sounds of it but I will take that. What I won't take is watching a load of Drivel that bores the living day lights out of the fans. I will not pay £23. to £27 to watch rubbish all the time. Come on LJ. Be a bit more adventurous
They're not paid to entertain you, they're paid to win games Believe it or not they won yesterday ...job done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
To be honest when we played and passed it about we looked quite good. Against a well organised team Powderpuff up front, the ball hardly stuck up there at all. Winnall and Watkins are too similar. Winnall also looks nowhere near fit.
The good passing was in our own third of the pitch. The opposition will allow you to do this if they realise you're a bit crap as doesn't threaten them. In their third of the pitch our passing was poor.
In which case 8500 or lower will become the norm for attendances. Of course local Derbys will boost it a bit . To attract the stay aways means serving up better entertainment
If we can win by playing entertaining, attractive football, then that's the perfect combination for me. If we can't manage that, then win. If that's beyond us, then draw by playing entertaining, attractive football. Finally, the last option is to ensure we draw. Yesterday we achieved the second option. Onwards to the next match, at Millwall.
Log off or you taking a break again When I say break I mean a whitey break ( 10 minutes) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you aren't entertained, don't turn up, take your season card back, don't show up, the place will be better without you
Just treated myself to the match on Player. Burton looked very handy, but I don't think our shape (3 at the back) helped. Indebted to Davies first half, couple of brilliant one handed saves. Looked better second half, but little to show for it. Great relentless foraging by Winnall immediately prior to Scowen 'winning' that penalty. So aye, nowt much to enthuse folk, other than the win, clean sheet and three points. Hopefully improve in key areas this Tuesday against Millwall who were dicked by Coventry 4-0.
We are going out to not to lose, then pinch a win , but not entertain. If it works most are happy with that. Others are wanting more than that, it was the same under Hill. This apparently make a good manager at third division level. I was working till 5.30 yesterday so missed the match, but it seems I missed little. A win is a win though and we havent seen too many of those over the last few years , so I will take that , for now.
