Do we think this is a good deal - I think under the present circumstances it is- though will be sad to see a player like Howard go.

i think its a case of putting 2 and 2 together.

webber not happy on the wing at sheff u, it wouldn't make sense to let howard go at this stage without getting someone in return. we need a striker.

just picked it up from a lower post - dont have any basis for it - I think the post said it was the rumour at the Sheff Utd ground yesterday

Webber probably on higher wages than Howard plus Simon said we would go with what we`ve got.

Webbers not the man for me........... if we did agree a swap I'd take £600k and

Derek Geary he isn't getting a game at the moment, he's hardworking fullback who can slot in on either side. Similar to Kozluk.

With regards Danny Webber, I don't see what he would add to the squad. He doesn't have great goalscoring record and I have concerns about the lack of height we already have up front. Therfore I don't see the point in signing another forward under 6ft who doesn't score goals regularly.........
The only forward over 6ft we have on the books is KO which I find very worrying. I feel that signing a tall striker on loan should be our priority e.g. Anthony Stokes (sunderland) 6ft 2", and ideally one knows where the net is.
