    read on a page on facebook that Wednesday fans started it, these are some of the comments

    "Kicking off in burnley tonight, all rumours at the minute but apparently sheff weds fans started to trash a club full of old men and kids, burnley lads turned up and someone has been glassed. More to follow"

    "A lot of reports that they tried it on and got as good as they gave until old bill turned up, but the thing is, the miners is a club full of 50+ year old blokes and women, burnleys main boozer is a minutes walk away, pretty embarrassing if the reports are true, smashing up a pub then getting run off old men."

    ""Yeah it kicked off in the miners. Plenty of Weds meat heads in the concert room, and a scuffle broke out in the foyer. Door opened and glasses came in to the lounge. Burnley fans retaliated and the Weds lads were forced back into the concert room. Went on to and fro for about 20 mins until the feds turned up. Lounge was full of women and 50+ blokes so the Weds lads must've fancied it.

    Shame really as the Weds lads in the Bene lounge before the game were ok...playin cards, doms and generally being friendly.

    I mean, how tough do you need to be to throw urself around mob handed in the miners?

    The wa.nkers did the same to Joseph Bramhas afew years ago and got slapped all over while Mr Naylor stood outside surrounded by police officers

    remember that well, mr Naylor giving it the big one with all his mates but when they legged it and left him on his own, he hid behind the coppers bricking it

    I don't care what colour you wear if you go looking for trouble or use a knife, a glass, a brick or anything else then they're all as bad. I'd stick the whole lot of them on a ship, sail it out about six miles and leave them there to rot. Bone-headed morons who latch on to football do my head in.
