    Anyone know how many Wednesday have sold for saturday .

    I dare say they will be nearly as many Wednesday fans as Barnsley Fans

    Hurts me to say but its true

    Took a look on the Online booking system on BFC website and there seemed to be a lot of empty seats left on it - Early days yet though but knowing how fickle the deedars are - maybe not full come Satdy teatime

    Might be wrong but I think a Wednesday fan said that by the end of last week it was around the 3500 mark, with probably another 1000 or so expected. That would seem about right to me. They have a tremendous following clearly but I'd imagine a lot would rather watch it in and around Hillsborough in the warmth of a pub. Ditto loads of Barnsley fans, including a good few I know.

    They average 23,763 at home. If they bring 4000 to Oakwell its the equivalent of us taking 1,500 to Hillsborough using % of home crowds. Not that clever if all you bleat on about is how massive you are and how good the following is.

    I really hope we batter them.

    As much as I HATE the Owls............they do have a good support (in number terms).
