    If they get 9 points deducted like Brum it’ll be meaningless. Be difference between them finishing 8th or 14th.
    Needs to be 20 points absolute minimum, preferably 30. Biased.....me?

    Very unlikely. When you dine at the same table as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Man City and Liverpool you get a level of reverence not afforded to the 'other' clubs.

    I think the major worry as far as the Clubs future is concerned is the possibility that Chansiri
    could be banned from any involvement in football. That could prove to be the catalyst for him
    walking away from the project, which could put the very existence of the Club in serious doubt-
    hopefully.

    How the hell can you sell something to yourself?
    My car is worth about 15 grand, I think I'll sell it to myself for 1 grand .
    My house is worth 200 grand. I'm putting it for sale, only to myself tho' for 10 grand.
    They can call it what they want but It's bloody money laundering .

    The EFL must be confident, otherwise Wednesday wouldn't have been charged. Big question is will they hand down a " powder puff" punishment or will they finally make a serious example of the Club for breaching fair play in the hope that it serves as a deterrent to others who knowingly and very brazenly flaunt the rules in the future.

    Actually, three Championship clubs (the limited companies that own the clubs) sold their grounds to the owners (the major shareholders of the limited companies that own the clubs) last year. In all cases, it looked like the sale took place in order to avoid punishment under the EFL financial fair play rules. The reason Sheffield Wednesday stand out is that they extended their financial year end by 2 months in order to give them time to do it. The debt in respect of the sale was also still outstanding in the company's Balance Sheet in its entirety. It was just an obvious stitch-up, and the EFL would have had to be blind not to see it.

    my thoughts exactly, they will drag out issuing the punishment until they can give a points deduction that has no bearing on them moving up or down divisions.
