Top of the Championship stadium filling attendance league are Cardiff City. On average their Ninian Park home is 93.3 per cent full even though their average gate is just 19,031. Sheffield United's home gates average out at 26,210, leaving the Blades with a healthy 80.3 per cent occupancy of Bramall Lane's 32,609 seats. Championship newcomers Doncaster Rovers are mid table in the empty seats table. Over three matches played at home and the Keepmoat Stadium has been 74.7 per cent full on average. Barnsley's stats at Oakwell show 55.3 per cent of the seats taken. Only Wednesday and Southampton have dipped below the 50 per cent mark. Top attendance in the Championship last season was at Hillsborough on the last day of the season when 36,208 watched the Owls beat Norwich 4-2. Biggest gate so far this campaign was at Pride Park on the first day of the season when 33,010 watched Derby play Championship newcomers Doncaster. Derby have the top average attendance of 29,131, the Blades are second with Wednesday trailing behind Norwich, Wolves, Ipswich, Charlton, Nottingham Forest, Birmingham, Reading and Cardiff. Average attendance at Hillsborough last season was 21,148. It was 25,631 at Bramall Lane; 11,425 at Oakwell and 7,978 at Doncaster Rovers. </div>
