I don't think you can pick, I personally will completely ignore the game and result as I can't stand either of the arrogant, nasty, deluded bigots. It just doesn't matter which wins as they are equally as foul as each other.
Would like to see Wendy win this. Why? - because Leeds are looking like they could push for promotion this season. That's the last thing we need. While poor owd Wendy look totally foooked already and have very little chance of pushing for promotion. So it's Wendy 2-1.
I don't like to see a bloke lose his job, but I genuinely think Wednesday's season will fully collapse if he gets the sack. The Wednesday fans seem to be on his back purely because they don't play like Real Madrid and they aren't top 2. The expectation level of their fans is wildly unrealistic. I don't mind who wins. I work with a few Wednesday fans and quite a few Leeds fans, but assuming I work with open minded people, neither seem to be the shouty, we're a massive club types that you speak to on a night out. So I'm not overly fussed either way. I can tell you that the Leeds fans are worried about this one.
I'd like Wednesday to lose, purely for the comedy value on Owlstalk afterwards. However, I'd also like to have 4 Leeds players sent off for jumping into the crowd and fighting with the Fowls fans. This would be followed up by an inevitable points deduction.
I reckon Wednesday will lose. Much as I dislike Leeds I think it would be amusing if Wednesday went into meltdown. They're half way there. This time last week they were all bolshy about the Blades game. You'd think the world had ended after losing to United. To say they "have the best supporters in the world" they are a fickle bunch. Calling for Carlos to be sacked because he doesn't understand the importance of the game. What's he supposed to do? Change his Nationality to suit?
Leeds to win for me. Then it brings home something else... poor old Weds will have lost 3 in a row, including a miserable 1-0 at Birmingham, who were themselves stuffed yesterday, so it will really make them all feel so unhappy down at Hillsborough. And then P and G will be worth listening to.
I’d like a draw if anything. Wouldn’t do either much good but would likely keep carvalhal in the job, but I’m not sure whether that improves our chances or not! Not that bothered though. Leeds win, Wednesday further into meltdown. Probably sack the manager. Wednesday win, Leeds early season start is arguably properly derailed. Arguments for all three results. Though to be honest I can’t see us competing with either long term this season so local rivalry aside I’m a bit unfussed. And I dislike neither more than the other. I actually think leeds will win comfortably, Wednesday look to be struggling.
