First of all it was a good game to watch and the ref handled it well. (although i must admit it looked outside)

First half was pretty even, although you did pass it about but with no end product, Wednesday chased and closed you down every time you had the ball.

Second half and we upped the tempo missed a few easy chances and got the all out important goal, it was always going to be decided by one goal this game.

We we're guilty of sitting back in the latter stages and it could of cost us 2 points as you did rally in the last ten minutes, but in all honesty you didn't test Grant much.

Very impressed with Barnsley and looking at that performance last night i don't think you will go down but i think you need some strikers that can finish.

    See you at Oakwell.

Listen after our horrendous start to this season a think we could do with a bit of luck now and then like you did against Watford [;)] anyway had the ref spotted it he would of only got a yellow assuming that all of the ball did go out.

Agreed! good game, well reffed! we miss chances, didn't test their keeper, owls defended well!!!

It was a close fought game thoughout. I can only remember the owls having 2No. chances...... we created alot but the end product just wasn't there..... Sodje looked good for them! and they defend solidly thoughout!

Muller - did what he had to do

Defence - yet another lapse of concentration at a set peice gifted them a goal! I'll say it again, Werling is a liability. Apart from the fact he can't defend, his free kick was poor and passing was appalling. Twice he laid ball to last man Souza when he was being man marked, which nearly cost us!

Midfield - Wingers were awsome although I wish JCR would cross ball first time, Howards passing was off again but he battle well.

Forwards - Macken was awsome as a target man come provider, but I'm concerned that he is opting to lay off rther than shoot sometimes. Ferenczi played well but is to similar to Macken. I'd like to see Mostto/Macken on sat!

Wouldn't say the wingers were awesome

Both played well but neither managed a decent cross all game pretty much. It's a shame disco has to be on the left, he always looks to get the ball back onto his right foot which slows things down

in his prematch TV interview he says....

his crossing with his left foot is hit and miss! but he's happy to play either wing

Would Campbell-Ryce work on the left?

Devaney's crossing (with his right) is much better than Campbell-Ryce's. I think Campbell-Ryce would be as effective down the left really, could still win us corners and run at their full backs.

    You were doing ok until

the "don't think you'll go down" comment - just a bit patronising don't you think? ! We were 7th in the league at Kick off.... and we're still above Wednesday. :((

Why did we only start playing once they scored?

Seemed that way to me, anyway.

    It was outside alright.
Your keeper was a total disgrace. Handled outside the box and cheated at the end with time wasting.
Thought you were pretty mediocre to say the least and no,I don't think you will make the play offs.

Sour grapes my friend had it been the other way round and it was your keeper then i'm sure you would have not commented at all.

As for the staying up bit well it seems that everyone on this site is aiming for 50 points so you seem to be looking downwards instead of upwards.

Very negative IMO, lets be honest you're punching above your weight as many had you down for relegation, after seeing you i don't think you will - take it whatever way you want.

3 points for us never less, shall i put as usual? na i'll leave it :D
