Weekend Camping

    Going camping for easter weekend.

    Anyone suggest anywhere good to go with plenty of bike trails and plenty of pubs.

    Matlock Bath area

    There's a decent bike trail starts at Wirksworth, going west towards Cheshire. Matlock area is very nice too.

    directly on national cycle route 81

    with some of the best mountain bike trails in the UK in a few miles from Aberystwyth

    I would keep away from coast, could be cold. We went to Norfolk camping one easter and ended up packing up early.
    I went to bed and wore my clothes, hat, socks in my sleeping bag and still was freezing. Got up next morning after hardly any sleep and about 75% of folks had packed up and gone.

    Ambleside, Lake District

    <font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Loads of superb mountain bike trails around forests to west of Ambleside and around top of Lake Windermere, loads of pubs too for midday tipple. Looks like a good forecast too.</font></p>
