I'm delighted the club has made this move to bring Wilson back. Can't understand why any Barnsley supporter would not be happy at this. Just who else were we going to reallistically get? Let's get behind the man and for once show a bit of patience (me included). My only disappointment is that it seems his deal is only to the end of the season. He should've been on a 3 year deal. What we need now more than anything is stability.
i'm delighted he's back. i said as soon as hill-croft version 2 got the sack , that Wilson should be given the chance. January when the transfer window opens, I think we'll see players going out and a few in now, in the mean time I bet the style of our football alters dramatically now. Wilson is the best chance we have of trying to salvage this season, if we don't then he'll rebuild us. Welcome back Mr Wilson.... you reds
Certainly think we'd have stood a good chance of bouncing back to the Premier if he'd not left. But, of the managers the club have had in my 47 years supporting, he Clarke and Hunter are the three that have given me the most pride. The last two have given me the most reasons to cringe. For what it's worth, I'm pleased.
