    Just that.
I couldnt believe my eyes when reading a few threads this morning. But then I realised it was one individual, and the same individual who thinks Hassell is gash, McEveley bob on, and O'Brien just the same as last year.
And its a double celebration. Not only have we recruited a proven Championship playmaker, but we say goodbye to that 'individual' too!

On paper he's a top quality signing, lets hope he doesn't take much time to get up to speed after being in the wilderness at Stoke.

looking Forward to seeing both signings in a red shirt.

Tonges got experience and a bit of quailty, im sure Keith will get him working hard.

i dont know much about the young lad corey but again keiths signings so far have all been to a good standard.

i dont think its been a coincidence that Davies form has dropped since the injuries of butterfield, Drinkwater and more importantly jim obrien. Hopefuly the new signings and return of jim will boost our creative options.

hoping to go and watch them train again next week so i'll see how the new lads are going on, doubt i'll put a report on this time though due to some of the nob heads.

Just a few of the usual nobs had a moan whitey, it doesnt' bother me but it makes u think why bother taking the time to do it.

i might change my mind pal and put it on.

id like to see what Dagnalls like in training, ive seen both his games so far and not been impressed but players take time to settle and im more than willing to give him time.

    win win situation for me

If he's as good as he was when at Sheff Utd we'll have signed a decent player.

If he's no longer any good at least we'll be able to laugh at the way he runs with his feet pointing in really weird directions.

There are a good few users of this board who would probably love me to disappear, but thats their lookout. Its a forum, and should be treated as such.
Please do share your day at Oakwell. I and many others found your previous reports very interesting

My memory is getting crap so could you help, when at Sheff Utd did he play mainly left side of midfield 4 and did he always seem as if it were to much trouble to run when not in possession despite his quality and quick feet when on the ball?

Thought he played next to Montgomery int centre?
But yeah, he's slower than Jacob, has good feet, and does/did run like Darren Sheridan..
Im guessing he'll play in the hole with Perkins and Smith behind him. Dagnall looked way out of his depth setdi, but thats to be expected, he needs dipping in and out like Done/RNL etc.. all IMO of course

Yes, Welcome to Oakwell Michael Tonge

The lad obviously has ability and I firmly believe that our management team will bring the best out of him and get him playing in the right way - The Barnsley Way.

Aye just looked it up YT he did play central before being sold, maybe he played out left in his earlier days or I`m going senile.

He played on the left regularly as far as I'm aware. Maybe not as much as he played centrally, but a lot.
