maybe the out come of the cup replay could decide if we go for a big signing,40k for getting through the round plus a potential pay day v spurs, just a thought like.

I'll see how we play with the players we have bought / will buy no matter who they are before making any judgement.

Exactly. Thats the attitude everyone should take.

There WILL be more additions before the end of January, I don't think theres any doubt about that.

 

Basically...............I don't think we even have enough mediocre players

We haven't got enough cake never mind the iceing
If we have injuries or suspensions we have to move players all over the field to put a half decent team out
You can't get away with that in this league -example, left back in central midfield
Who is our right winger this week now Devaney is out (dunno)

 

Are we in a better position "squadwise" than 3 weeks ago?

Have we got goalkeeping cover? (possibly a better keeper?)
Have we got a decent left back? (not known but likely)
Have we got decent midfield cover?

OK a striker and and a CH would seal the deal and give us a fighting chance and no doubt they are on the cards.

Lets face it most on here thought our first 11 were capable (and have largely proven to be so) when all fit and available. All of them are league 1/2 players or the odd premiership youth cast off at best.

Simple put Hayes on the right wing and choose from Richards/Nads/Coulson up front, or put Howard on left wing Reid on the right and give the new lad a start in the middle.
