I Do Because......... it's only one match and an opinion shouldn't be swayed on the basis of 90 minutes.
He's still got things to prove. A performance like that has been long over due under Davey. Saturday's result will say a lot on how he keeps momentum going through a team now
i do dont rate him at all, after playing his way all that time it is going back to ritchie's tactics that has got us a win, and one hell of a fight by the players.

Next season under davey would not be good to watch at all in either league.

ps well done Mr Kay brilliant at the back

How on "gods" good earth were we playing AR's tactics?? just wondered like cos it was certainly not 442
it seems that you are basing one swallow ==ing a summer. Of course it was an excellent win and both players and management should be given full honours and appreciation but, so long as they realise that they can prove they can do it, there will be an expectation to perform during the rest of the season. Should Davey revert back to his type of play with his previous type of selection then yes hes should be sacked. However, if he has learned something from todays team selection, tactical approach and result the answere is no, he should be encouraged to continue. I have/am a Davey and shephered critic and will now await the outcome of the remainder of the season. Davey has now set a presedence.
Nardiello had a free role I think, and worked incredibly hard. But the structure was certainly 4-4-2 Darrell, IMHO, with Nardiello dropping off into the attacking midfield spot at times. Think Howard and Togwell were told to sit quite deep so that the wingers could push further forward.
exactly so it was 441 with nardiello dropping in and making runs so realistcly i make that 442. he was playing up front. Worked his socks off and scored a great goal, it was Ritchies tactics to me, 2 wingers Howard in the middle and Togwell getting through the work.
my fat arse Ferenczi was isolated on his own on the whole. Factoid. He did work hard though. His best game in a red shirt.
I never did want him sacking. Only wanted him to be given a fair chance which many posters hadn't the grace to give him.
The so called "Clown" was on a hiding to nothing when he took a very difficult job on.
Not seen many posts today asking for the points per game average. Can it be that the "clown" is actually doing a better job in trying to keep us up than Saints Andy and Rick.

RE: my fat arse your arse must be very big then as it was 4 4 2 with Nads being given the licence to roam. Also the wingers playing on the 'wrong' wing enableing them to cut in worked. I've always thought Devaney was better there as he doesn't have the pace to beat full backs on the outside.
I don't want him sacking, my beef is with the board and their treatment of AR. Don't you think that it was a more Ritchie style performance and that if he had had the services of Nardiello from the start of the season we may not have been in the position we were when he was sacked.
