    being devils advocate...

    ...why waste money on rebuilding it when we have 13000 empty seats around the stadium anyway..... its not as though we are short of seats (chinny)

    better idea would be sell off the academy to a house builder.....buy the ground back and then redevelop the west...

    We do need to rebuild the stand at some point.

    If we do want to compete with the bigger teams.

    But if we become a Prem team at some point well need the stand and it may not pass saftey regs in next few years.

    I like the West Stand. It is our history. Gives the ground some character. Think the club should just spend some money on doing it up. If they want to add seats to the capacity then they can extend the Ponty around the corner with the West and extend the East Stand round the corner with the North. Just an idea like.

    He mentioned it this morning on the radio, that the club were planning on using some cup money to redevelop the west stand. I am all for it, as long as they had another 2-3k on to the capacity of the stand. No point if it's going to stay the same capacity or barely be increased.
