After all the negative no hope bile we've seen this season maybe people will now think twice about posting unhelpful ***** about our manager, his management team and our players.
    Neill Collins. Top job.

Agree but there's been a significant improvement in the standard of players brought in recently..Pines and Earl aren't Pontefract colleries level. but you are spot on that the Gaffer has moulded a lot of new faces and team changes into a possible promotion side in a very short time and is doing an excellent job...

That was the main point of people who were defending Collins earlier in the season when he was criticised. At the start of the season our defence was gutted, and the replacements that our incompetent CEO recruited were not up to scratch.

Now that we've given Collins the correct tools, he's doing even better.

The thing I never quite grasped was this constant complaint of negative, boring football. I posted a stat on here a few months back that showed with the notable exception of Peterborough (particularly when set pieces were taken out of the equation) we were around the top of the pile for goals, and shots on goal… it's all about perception of course, but producing goal scoring opportunities to me is what entertaining football is... rather that than the Derby, Bolton approach of playing for set pieces to get the big units to bundle something in from a scramble or working for a free kick or penalty ad nauseum... don't get me wrong it has its place and I'd certainly take the goals when they came, but playing for corners and lumping it into the box is the opposite of great entertainment.

The "incompetent" CEO didn't recruit them. They recruited by the backroom team who are involved in all signings.I think the signings of Lopata and Shepherd were made with an eye on the future and the sale of Kitching putting us some where on the spot with it being too late to recruit.

Khaled stated on the record that he was responsible for "99%" of the day to day running of the club.

Thankfully, he's now just a footnote in our history.

Don’t hold your breath. Some will NEVER give the club any credit no matter how much work they do, how much money is invested or how well the team performs. It’s all “foreign rubbish” etc etc. I think the new board are doing just fine thank you very much!

Well it turns out that this new coaching set up have done a pretty good job with the tools given and, for that, I applaud them no matter where we end up in May. Another promotion or another good go at it next season makes no difference to me. It’s my club, and always will be.

Fans should always be able to constructively criticise every aspect of the Club IMO. There has to be balance for me, between the constant nay sayers and rose tinted set.

Well said..Today I posted praising the club, players and recruitment and in paticular that the manager is doing an excellent job..I also posted saying sadly that I feel Russell is not up to it and won't get there...Praise and grumble in equal measure but always with respect and abuse free...

Don’t you find that the main problem with any sort of debate is how quick people can be to label others as one of those? Whereas in reality, the majority are somewhere nearer the middle.
