What are you talking about - there'll be 4,000 kids with ginger hair and we'll have to have a word with Bobby and tell him not to take the song literally and stop sleeping with all our wives!

Fantastic, hope one of the little sods ain't sat behind me with his dads iphone, playing games at full volume.

Had it again at the Birmingham match :(

Why do folk bring kids when they have no interest or no attention span to last 10 mins.

Saying that, I'd left when the 3rd goal went in, so suppose the kid lasted out longer than me.

Tbf, I was playing with my iPhone after 10 minutes as well. The parents should be questioned for child cruelty.

Over thae last few days folk have been giving these away on something called freecycle on Facebook and hundreds of people have been asking for them ! what does that tell us ? That interest is out there or just folk trying to grab a freebie ?

Fair play to the club, but what area's have they distributed the tickets to?

I mentioned last week about Dearne & District JFC, falling in a key catchment area, but no schools in that area got any. I sent an email to the club last Wednesday asking if they would consider the club to be part of the offer. 17 teams we have, almost 300 kids in total. Some just starting off the interest in supporting a club. NO REPLY.
Whilst appreciate they've had more pressing matters since the weekend, a standard "thanks for your email but we are unable to deal with your request at the moment" would have been nice.

We'll just have to take Doncaster up on the offer for the 3rd time this season!

Really depressing reading that. Mistakes will always be made and things will be overlooked, but when someone informs them of an issue and the club don't even bother to reply...

I've heard it all too often. I'm not even sure the club reads e-mails never mind reply to them.

Can you not give them a bell, l'm sure Ben would give you a call back when he's got the time. They're trying to reach out to fans.

I've never heard of anyone getting a response to an e-mail from the club. I e-mailed them to say I wanted to sponsor a player a couple of years ago and asked for the relevant form, etc, but never heard back. Then you hear them clamouring for investment!

Its easy to blame folk in the office and its poor form but i think most of the time its just down to the fact the club spend most of the cash on players sat warming the bench instead of an extra pair of hands in the office.

Will be very surprised to see all of them go but why not hand them out!

Yeovil will obviously be given the small bit on the side now and try and get that away stand full with the next generation. We need something to happen with our home support to make it rise.

Loving this, really happy as a ST holder that the stand opposite will be nice and full with home fans instead of 300 away fans!!

Can we not hand out another 1500 or so to schools/clubs and through paper/radio etc (the stand holds 6000) really pack the stand to the rafters. Not everyone will go so handing out 5500 will at least give us a chance of having 4000-5000 in the stand :)

they may as well do it for every remaining home game IMHO

they are using the North Stand, which would only remain empty otherwise. So why not fill it with Kids and a guardian. I could understand them not doing so on Bigger games like Derbies for instance. But for all the lesser games then why not. OK so the tickets are free but some revenue would be made for the club in other sales. At the end of the day getting future fans has to be a good thing.
