    10,000 empty seats last night!!!

Well the offer of keeping your stub for £10 off a half season pass or the next 2 games did wonders!! I bet we will do well to sell 4 half season tickets! For a start, it's 2012, I can't believe we are still 'keeping ticket stubs' we have computers, for god sake use your customer database not a bit of paper!!

So many options could have been made last night to still charge Wednesday full price but get home fans in. Season ticket holders could habe brough a friend for a tenner, or buy a Brum or Blackburn ticket and get a Wednesday one for free, buy all 3 for £50.

Lets see what the Leeds crowd is when not on sky and after xmas but still at £25!!! Leeds will bring at least 6000, maybe 7000+ - Getting closer to catching the home crowd!! I can see the last home game vs Hull actually being close, if they need a a win to go up and we are down/going down then it could be more Hull fans than reds fans!!

So Don and the board, are you really going to let this continue any longer, for me this is far more important than Hill and the team!! Some massive marketing, price drop and creative thinking is needed big time....None of these laughable and offers that aren't even offers, for the long term future of our support something massive has to be done now!!!

But Don will feel he has done his job if 7,000 away fans pay £25 to get in - he'll be thinking of the £££.

Might get a shock next year if we get relegated and for 90% of the home matches, the away support could be sub 500. He'll have to have a rethink then!

Stupid marketing logic. People would turn up and watch a massive derby for say £20. But people who aren't particularly bothered about going were never going to pay full price for a Sky game, then pay half price for ANOTHER game they probably aren't interested in. For pity sake can we not just make the odd game cheaper, advertise it like nowt reyt and try to do it that way. None of this, pay for a ticket, save the stub, come back and buy another ticket (only from the box office at certain times) for the next game and saver a tenner etc rubbish! Half interested fans will not be interested nor have the patiance to mess about saving stubs and vouchers to redeem at a later date for another match, or one of two, which in itself will confuse people. No more jumping through hoops, just have simple, straight forward promotions. Then it's down to the fans to show they're bothered.
