I have avoided this site till now but just had to take a peek and see what the general feeling was, I was not surprised to see the posse has mounted up and is off to the hills to lynch any and every culprit they seem fit.. BUT no I was not there... no I did not listen to it and so No I guess I have no right to an opinion... I have just looked at the match stats that's all. seems they bossed thats it if stats are to be believed. I still have faith with The people in the back rooms at Oakwell and with Danny Wilson. He took more than 2 seasons to get it right last time he was in the big chair... like many other successful managers too. However these days its all fast track .. right here right now. Well life is just not like that , the best things are the ones that are worked long and hard upon... they tend to last . But again that's my opinion as to which I am not allowed according to a good many on here. Today I have no excuse for not being there or listening to it..... sorry but the welfare of my 18month old Dog was more in my eyeline today, she has had a bad reaction to her spaying op from yesterday so I was kinda focused on something that to me was hugely more important than 'Prima Donna's' in a football kit.... that's life ... that's priorities... football is not and will never be a priority as far as I am concerned.
Sorry to hear about your little Dog still being under the weather. Have you had to make a return trip to the Vets?
Thanks for your concern Dr Z.. I appreciate it , truly basically she was having a hard time dealing with the aches and pains in the aftermath of the op.. we brought her home and they did not isse any pain killers if needed... "Metacam" is what they use.. its kinda a doggie super strength brufen . She hardly slept last night which meant me and my wife Ann did not either as we were looking out for her... we even slept down stairs on an airbed with her... just to be there for her. I went in today and got thee matacam... she has had a shot of it she has been able to get a few hours Kip in and she seems a lot happier. She put her kip in on our bed with me laying next to her cuddling..... they are after all just dumb animals.. bloody dogs.... they are my life
Re: Thanks for your concern Dr Z.. I appreciate it , truly Gotta give credit to Donny and their manager Paul Dickov. Last summer they were in big termoil and in a much worse state than us. However they are above us and thanks to their clean sheet and three points today have gone even further ahead of us, and with a piss poor home record at that.
Re: Thanks for your concern Dr Z.. I appreciate it , truly Nowt dumb about my dog! Hope yours is soon full of a greater joy than is to be found watching The Reds these days.
thanks matey read my reply to Dr Z... it covers all, and I know that you, Crystal, Chris and especially Laura know exactly where I am coming from.... you like me are hard faced unfeeling bastads who laugh at sentimentality and romanticism.... we are like that ? are we not? she is definitely on the mend mate... but we did worry and we did get very upset to see her looking so sorry for herself. The vet said to give her a light diet of things like rice/chicken rice/fish scrambled eggs .... she has been bought best fresh fish ... not frozen rubbish like I get given ..... so far there has been Atlantic cod, Canadian plaice, and even some turbot ... my older Cairn Fergus is loving it ... as what one gets so does the other, bit weird that Fergus is now taking his evening meal with a nice liebfraumilch and an after dinner mint
Re: Thanks for your concern Dr Z.. I appreciate it , truly Metacam has been the saving of my two boys, Brad and Fudge. Before their traumas last year, Brad having his eye removed and Fudge with his leg operation, they were put on to Metacam for their arthritis. Both are 13 years old and have to have a daily shot of it. They are now bouncing around with renewed vitality. Stick with it, it's a good medecin. Hope your doggy gets better soon.
Re: Thanks for your concern Dr Z.. I appreciate it , truly They give so much pleasure and Loyalty. Hopefully she will be on the mend this week.
Oh aye(!) That describes the rest of my family to a T!(!) We're taking Laura back to uni tomorrow and she'll certainly miss our dogs. Thankfully, the family she's living with in Ambleside have a black Labrador called Rossi who's a big softy!
Heart breaking to see your dog in pain or upset. Dogs are just as much part of a family as you or I are! Hope your dog has a speedy recovery.
Well done to Rovers indeed, they deserved the 3 points, no doubt about that. All the best to your dog too, far more important than football. Hope she's well soon.
