Proves you have the best interest of BFC at heart, no player is bigger than the club so Mcphail will become a distant memory but at least we wont break the club to keep him. There will be others who do want to play for us and at the right money. I will laugh my socks off if we finish above mcphails new club. To be honest if we stay up next year I will be happy and anybody who is expecting better should maybe re-think a bit. Looking forward to welcoming the new players as they arrive and to cheering on the team next year. BT
. Our Club is in safe hands here with Gordon at the helm. We would all like big star signings but it's simply not going to happen. The league will take some getting used to and if we simply stay up and begin to move forward to consolidate our position in the League then that will do me nicely.
The thing is McPhail, all too often, disappeared from a game when things were getting tough, we'll be in plenty situations next season when the going is tough and we'll need everyone out there giving their all....I'd have liked to see him stay but feel that Howard can take his place....it's a ball winning midfielder we need to go with him.
Hear hear. I like the caution from the top re expectations as well. We were told we were going for consolidation last season and look what happened.
