Some United fans on the way home from Inverness yesterday bumped into the Hamilton team bus. A fan asked if his son could get a picture with Jason.
    No problems.

Well done Jason for making the wee fella's day.

Good bloke is Jason Jason. When he signed for us we were told that money doesn't come into it with him, he just wants to play football. And doesn't he give loads of his earnings away? Did a great job for us.

    Well done Jason Jason.

BTW Is he the person to score the fastest debut goal for Barnsley? 1 min 20sec wasn't it against Millwall as a sub?

    Andy rammell?

Don't know how long he was on the pitch but it was also his first touch if I remember rightly

Jay Rodriguez scored a quick un too from the bench, I think it was his debut (stand to be corrected on that though).

Was that the one at Blackburn away? I was at that one, can't remember it being a fast one though...

We shouldn't have got rid of Jason Scotland when we did. Okay he's not the fittest but he makes up for it in sheer ability. Has a rare quality of being able to create a chance for himself out of nothing without actually doing much to do it.

Doing alright, I think. At our game with Hamilton a few weeks ago he was a sub and came on with 10 or 12 minutes to go. Didn't score but gave our defence problems with his bulk when bursting through. Always dangerous in front of goal.

Pleased to say that our crowd gave his a great welcome back when he took to the pitch. Always did his best and always a trier.

    Great guy.

He played a big part in our great escape and he'll always be fondly remembered at Oakwell.

I think so yes. First touch but don't know how long he'd been on

I thought Flicker let him go but could be wrong.

No - it was Flicker during the close season. He never played in the relegation season.
