Much improved performance, but still lacking a cutting edge. The quality of football played today was of a far higher standard than anything seen so far this season. Unfortunately, a very poor penalty taken by Macken. However, there were far more positives than negatives today.
Summed up perfectly. Really pleasing performance. I thought De Silva was a class apart, so good to see him playing again. The passing today was excellent, just wasn't anything in the final third. As for the penalty miss, lets just say Macken shouldn't take any more penalties that we might get.
Yep totally agree Hume took them at Leicester and the absence of Howard he should have taken the one today. So many times we didnt get adequate crosses into the area when in good positions - much improved though and definately deserved 3 points today!
