Didn't see much of the game but saw the goal and it was a cracker. Shows what a goalscorer can do, eh? Stoke seemed to be putting on the pressure without the composure to finish off chances. And don't get me started on Lee Hendrie. The win was good on more than one level. You gave yourselves a bit of space from the drop zone and a few more wins could see you piling the pressure on the clubs below. Especially Leeds The fact that you beat one of our play-off rivals was very sweet. It's still early days but there is now a little daylight forming and it may be a case of perming any 3 from 8. How about turning Sunderland over for us (dancin)
some statto thoughts I think your away fixtures will be your downfall
Derby Birmingham Soton away won't produce many points-my prediction the anguish of 7th place -maybe on goal difference

Hiya mate. Hendrie was an arse throughout the game and should have been red carded for the incident with Austin. Everybody deserves credit for last night's victory. Bring on Naaaarwich on Saturday
RE: some statto thoughts Our next couple of fixtures are tough. Brum, Soton and Derby away, Norwich & Sunderland home. Our run-in is a darn site easier. Then again, that's how our start of the season was and we went 9 points clear! Before our game at West Brom I was fearing the worst. We had 5 or 6 missing and had a couple of debutants and an average age of about 23. We were excellent and very unlucky. After our disastrous 11 games without a win, we've now lost 1 in 6 - winning 4 of them. We battered Preston on Friday and morale seems to be pretty high amongst the players. I think we can afford to lose 1, maybe 2, of the next 5 and still be thereabouts. Crossing fingers but, like yourself, think we'll finish 7th or 8th.
Alright fella, how you doing? Hendrie was exactly the same against us and managed to get McPhail sent off by over-dramatising a nothing incident. As if McPhail could be aggressive, lol. I'd rather he gave me a slap than my daughter! Hendrie is assured of an "interesting" reception at Ninian Park. Could be worse than the welcome reserved for jacks at our place. Norwich look well beatable at the moment and another 3 points would put you well on course to being safe. All the best.
Don't get you started on Lee Hendrie? Why not? Best mid-fielder in this division by a long shot, AND with a club that's going places. Whereas Cardiff !?! Don't make me laugh! I've seen better pub sides.
The clubs in question ... in order of size: (1) Wednesday (2) Cardiff (3) Stoke (4) Little Baaarnsli Just accept it ... the mighty Owls are on the way back.
Rumbled You're not a Stoke fan because they hate Henrie. Overpaid, thinks he's Prem strutting it about with little end result etc.
They certainly don't rate him as the best in the division!

Baaarnsli's Netto kit last night. Nice to see your boys sporting the local colours. You can't drive through your ****-hole little village without seeing the magic yellow & black bags. You bunch of dirty, inbred, scummy feckers. Now go and get the coal in.
IS there a Lidl about 5 mins away from Hillsborough alond withe the biggest council estate in Yorkshire? Big club? don't make me laugh!! when was the last time you did anything "big" in the "big" leagues or "big "cups????
I liked it mate. It made them look a few stone lighter. No bad thing when the entire side is fed on a diet of chips, chips and gravy, chips a la orange, chips and lard, oh and did I say chips? Did the earth move? only when the Barnsley team were running about - and that wasn't too often.
RE: Don't get you started on Lee Hendrie? Stoke going places. Yep, downwards lol. Cardiff are in the play-off places mate, somewhere you can only dream of. Stokes foundations are built on sand fella with more loans than the Halifax. What happens when they desert you? I look forward to the game agianst you at Ninian Park, it'll be like watching the Harlem Globetrotters.
RE: I liked it mate. You cant have been there if you think that. Ferenczi left that centre half for dead for the goal and we closed ya down all over the pitch. Move on mate, you whole lifes in fronat of ya, (or is it that whats buggin ya).
RE: Baaarnsli's Netto kit last night. Sorry for laughing my self silly, but just seen your profile... Europe in 5 years
Lidl? Yes. We have to cater for the odd Baaarnsli bin dweller who dares to leave the confines of the shitty borough they were born in, and have rarely left. It's only a matter of time until we are back in the Premier League, where we belong. It's the same for Baaarnsli. It's only a matter of time until you're back in League One, where you belong. Crappy little club - full of hoodied scrubbers & thick, bald fat w4nkers.
It is funny, I agree. I also think we could be there in three if everything goes to plan. Big club, big revenue, big ground, big players ... big result. You boys, on the other hand, will be fighting relegation to League Two this time next year. Good luck. You dirty fecking scrubber b4stards.
