For the first time in as long as I can remember, they managed to keep supporters off the pitch after the final home game of the season.

The ingenuous plan of playing such abysmal, contagiously apathetic football since Christmas, culminating in today's passionless, pathetic showing, certainly worked from a security viewpoint.

I'd argue that beating any optimism out of supporters to the point that they don't even care enough to get carried away in any rash behaviour, is something of a sledgehammer approach. Fair play, though. It was certainly effective.

What was the attendance today? I'm guessing an actual or around 5k?

Officially 11159 but a few thousand less in reality
