    the will to win, albeit against a poor Arsenal side.
    What a simple game football can be if you set your mind to it.
    I wonder how many BFC fans were watching that thinking "why don't our shower o'***** perform like that?"
    I liked the way they closed down the Arsenal players en masse not allowing them to play at all. When Barnsley have played in that fashion in the past it has created excitement, goals, atmosphere, instead of standing off and watching the game pass them by.
    I'm not a closet Owls fan but I have just seen a good team performance.

    Was thinking the exact same pretty jealous of our neighbours how the tide has changed over the last few years

    So you don't think we can play an up tempo pressing game at this level without having a sugar daddy to spend millions on players. I'll have to disagree.

    I was wondering myself actually why we couldn't play with a similar tempo and desire, given we did vs Everton and held them to an exciting 3-3 draw over 90 minutes.

    I dislike Wednesday as much as the next Tarnite but credit where it's due, don't think anyone can deny they were anything other than excellent last night.

    we can play like that but not if we don't have a go and instead just sit and try and bore the other team to death

    well done the owls,i personally dont wish to see them struggle just cause we are and i'd much prefer to see a south yorks club win than a london club.
