12 year old little girl walking round town until 6pm when she can be picked up because your on ******* strike again.
So no parental responsibilty then?? Not saying I approve or disapprove of strike action here, but if the parent/s knew there was going to be a strike and disruption should he/she they not have ensured a 12 YEAR OLD! child had an alternative means of getting home and being safeguarded? Just a thought like or are you one of those that likes to blame everything on 'UNIONS'?
First are running a normal service on 22 route,And i have seen quite a few Stagecoach buses being driven by Scab labour.
No i didnt know there was going to be a strike and its hit or miss whether or not she gets the bus home or gets a lift. We have alternative means, she's walking up to her friends near the hospital. Thanks for your concern, love your use of capitals. How's that for parental responsibility. Si thi
I've just called her and said jump on the scab bus, give em a tip an all. Will it be the one with mesh on the windows?
Nothing to do with whether you disagree or agree with me on certain things but you remind me of Jeremy Clarkson in that half the time you talk perfect sense and the other times you talk absolute boll*x although when you do the latter, again, most of the time I think you do it, like Clarkson, to evoke a response. Like Clarkson. I think you are often misunderstood. On that point the latest ''"shoot the strikers" comment, for anyone who saw the full thing, was a sarcastic and ironic comment as Clarkson himself said 'ironically' to address the BBC rule on impartiality as he had kust said something critical about the strikers opponents. A bit 'Life of Brian'ish' if you ask me. Have a good weekend!
I agree with TekkyTyke. It was pretty well publicised that there was going to be a strike, so why was a 12 year old in town?
3 comments on the strikes and you come out with that load of b*llocks about me, l tend to stay out of the political threads the only ones l commented on recently are the one above on the bus strikes, one that simply said "the M1 will be clear" and the one below again on the bus strikes when she was stranded with her mate after her mum couldn't pick them up: "Kin'ell l haven't had a payrise for 4 years, l do an 80 mile a day round trip to go to work, Diesel's just gone through the roof, on Saturday l got a £25 parking ticket because l didnt realise Tarn hall car park was a maximum 2hr stay, then to make matters worse my car broke down this morning and to fix it will cost £200-£300. I'm also moving house this Friday and the boiler broke in my current house last week............the bill came to £336, my solicitor fees are nearing 3 grand for this move and to make matters worse l gets a call from the little lass last week, 12 year old stranded in tarn because the bus drivers were on strike asking if l can pick her up on the way home from work, but she would have to wait 2 hours til l got there. Fecking stroll on. "
well i am sure Gordon's daughter would not be but most 12 year olds are in town with their mates shoplifting arn't they!?
To be fair, she's 13 in a few weeks so it makes her a bit harder. I didnt know they were on strike and it seems the schools didnt mention anything, or she's just be in princess world again and not listening...
I would if she was mine, I bet you wondered where l had just got this 12 year old daughter from? Inherited a family, saves me doing a job and a lot of money. 9.13 tomorrow isn't it?
To be fair there isn't any striking bus drivers either. Must all be shopping like the public sector lot did Wednesday.
OK Sorry! You sound like you are going through a sticky patch and having a bad time of it. Genuinely hope things improve for you. I wrongly had you down as one of those right wing union bashers
