Thought we would have crumbled after the red card and many other barnsley teams down the years would have but the lads stayed strong soaked up the pressure. It wasn't easy especially with Birmingham having 12 men with another clueless ref down at the well. We could have snatched it aswell winnall missed a free header with no one around him 9 times out of 10 sam hits the net but not today. But I would have took a point after their pen went in so happy in the end. Happy new year to all on the bbs. UTR

They showed comendable discipline as well in the face of shockingly inconsistent and increasingly one sided refereeing decisions. We could have easily had another sent off, I'm sure Mr Duncan would have loved to brandish another red. Solid defending, great fight shown through that second half and a shout out to Adam Jackson who came in from the cold and defended admirably.

Winnalls header was offside app. But well done reds like you say against 12 men.

Happy not to lose after Roberts got sent off.

Not his best game - he was largely responsible for their first.

He's been wonderful all year though - nobody's perfect.

Winnall had a great chance when we were down to 10, but then again he made summat out of a corner to score earlier on.

And they missed a great chance at the far post when Angus somehow seemed to manage to put their bloke off.

We looked a lot more organised than we usually do when we're missing a player.

Anyway well done and thank you BFC for an unforgettable 2016.

We looked better after we went down to ten men. I really thought we were going to nick it at the end.

Me too. The longer the game went on the more I started to believe we'd score a winner. Our team spirit in the second half was commendable.
